Yes that is correct sir. Speed Racer the movie is "speeding" to a theatre near you/me some time in the not so distant future. Yes I am jazzed, cause not only is Speed so dreamy cool, especially with the stylish red scarf, ascot tie thing he wears, but the Wachowski brothers are directing. Note the part of Larry Wachowski will be played by Lana Wachowski who was/is actually really Larry. Confused? Dont be.
Mathew Fox will play Racer X, and Christina Rici will be playing Trixie complete with her bad hair cut.
I was up for Speed's step- brother, Glenn Racer, a demolition derby champion, but they ended up cutting the character out.
Anyway the Mach 5 looks killer.
