I have been trying to read A Feast for Crows, that George R. R. Martin book, fourth in a series of books, which also have a title. Anywho.... I was really excited about this series years ago, but it took this guy FIVE years or so to put this baby out in hardback. I do not want to go back and reread the last book, just so I can read this one, but the internet has several sites that cliff note the last book to save me time. Go internet! I have been reading more mainstream fiction as of late, and maybe I am just getting older, but waiting for these series books to publish another installment is growing more taxing.
It's the same thing with the Jordan fellow. I started the series as it came out. That is 1990, to you and me, and I was on board, waiting every 12-18 months for the next fix. Then he got stale. Then it was two years to publish, then 27-30 months.
I am definitely liking the one shots or Harry Potter. Who just isnt wild about Harry?
