Watchmen

I have read this book. Alan Moore's peice on heroes and all that, that is renowned as the best writing in comicbookdom.

For me not so much. I think Kingdom Come is better, and I am not a real DC fan. I really like Loeb and Sale's Superman for all Seasons mini-series. Good writing and go art go well together.

Anwho, I digress. They, Warner Brothers, are making the film version, and me being a comic book nerd, I have to watch it wether it is good or bad, cause it's the genre.

The only decent part of the book,in my opinion, is Rorschach. He will be aptly played by Jackie Earle Haley, the foul mouthed outfielder, Kelly from the Bad News Bears, no not the remake, and not Tanner Boyle, the foul mouthed shortstop that fought the whole eighth grade.

Dont know what he has been up to, besides the nod for playing a child molester, but maybe he has the chops to pull it off. Hope so. Simon Pegg was in meetings over the role, and he is diggable, but maybe he is too recognizable as Sean (of the Dead) to pull off the character...
