Good Rokkin

Move over Conan, Rokkin (rhymes with Dokken) is stepping onto the scene. I just read a review of the comic released by DC comics that tell a tale of a swordslinger of sorts, and blood letting and all that, set in an age of iron and steel.

This art is fan art from Deviant again and this here below is the original cover art on sale now.

Well not 'til 07/12/07 anyway. Art and story by Andy Hartnell, Nick Bradshaw, and Jim Charalampidis.

I have hopes for this mag, even at 2.99 a whack, and I hope the wife oks my allowance to pick up this charmer.
Fantasy comics are few and far between and come and go like Cubs' pitching. Hopefully this is the start of something good.

Here's a sample page. Feel free to click the pics for they may get bigger or maybe not. I am not sure either way. I like the look, and I am frequently amazed by bright and shiny objects. Fan art from deviant.com by an artist named "monkeyseed". He has got the goods.

Dont know if it is high fanatasy, and low adventure, or high adventure, and low fantasy... Throw in some scantily clad slave girls and I am so there.
