The book is by Richard Matheson, about the last man on earth, the true Daywalker, who is not alone in his fortress home, as an epidemic has made the general populus into vampires. It is his account of his attempts at survival. And now it's a movie.
I thought this was an Arnold vehicle like 20 years ago, like Sgt. Rock, but Will Smith takes on the lead role, and blood sucking vampires too. He is no Wesley Snipes, (who is?) but he can bring some acting to the table.
