The Silly French

Anywho surfing as a I do, hereabouts, hither and yon, I found some fantastic art from a French Comic book named Sillage.

It's some sort of space/fantasy adveture deal, but I cant really follow the plot cause I do not know any french except oui oui.

Its hard to find a genre spanning game that incoporates all things without becoming ridiculous. I know my players would constantly nuke the site from orbit just to be sure, if given the chance, or visit low tech worlds to be worshipped in sun god robes with thousands of naked women throwing little pickles at them.

As fun as this may sound, I do not know if I could rein in those free thinkers that do not want to get back to the reason we are here, otherwise known as the campaign.

I am sure there are some cool idears in this frenchy mag , so if anyone reads it clue me in.

Anywho, I touched upon something in the last post that troubles me when I run. I run with a group of GMs that do not play much so, they have a vast array of knowledge of things from monster hit die and SR, and etc, so I am frquently hassled on a variety of subjects.

I find myself more and more using my own design/take on monsters and such to the point I have decided to start my own world building and campaign, so no one will know the details. I have changed the magic system a little to make magic manageable in a "low" game, and changed some other system issues. I still use the 3e, but I am tweaking it alot.

Maybe I will put in on Wiki... I dunno. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?
